It was an incredibly nostalgic moment when Indian Legends Tendulkar, Sehwag and Ganguly reunited in the commentary box

The very first day of the ICC World Cup 2019, as England triumphed South Africa by 104 runs, the critique box saw a minute to recall. Indian batting legends Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Sourav Ganguly met up in the box and the supporters did not pass up on the chance to get them in one casing.

Sehwag then took to his twitter handle and posted a rare photo of the trio during a one-day match. He captioned it as, “Together again!”.

The Social media was full of their pictures wondering and their fans were curious to know how the three got into a frame together, while batting. The reason behind is-

Reversing our gear to 2003.

On 15 November, 2003, India was facing New Zealand in a day-night match held in Hyderabad. As Ganguly won the toss and chose to bat first, the opening pair of Tendulkar and Sehwag released itself on the Kiwi bowlers – both scoring their hundreds.

Subsequent to heaping up 182 runs in 30 overs for the opening association, Sachin was the first to get expelled for a 81-ball 102. Then came Ganguly at number three.

The Sehwag – Ganguly pair was gearing along easily too before the captain got an injury and the crowd’s favourite Sachin Tendulkar was back on the field, as a sprinter for Ganguly.

The another highlight of the match was – The fans were in amazement as extraordinary Rahul Dravid, who came to bat at number five, played really well scoring a 22-ball half century, which is as yet the second quickest fifty scored by an Indian in a one-day international.
